About the Role
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team. Our data team supports a wide range of internal customers including Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales by delivering scalable, secure, and high-impact data solutions.
What You’ll Do- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Stream Analytics, and Fabric.
- Work with on-premises tools such as SQL Server, SSIS, and SSAS.
- Design normalized relational and/or dimensional data models for OLTP and OLAP systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement enterprise reporting models.
- Administer and optimize our data solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Have hands‑on experience with data services in a professional setting.
- Have a strong grasp of data modeling, SQL, and cloud‑based data architecture.
- Thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross‑functional teams.
- Are committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with evolving data technologies.
- Are genuinely passionate about data and driven to make a meaningful impact through your work.
