Operations Manager
Overview
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including shipping and receiving, purchasing, product delivery, budgeting, inventory control, warehouse safety, housekeeping, and supervision of warehouse staff.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement improved methods of materials handling, stock control, and packaging to promote efficiency, service, and reduced costs.
- Provide for the security, scheduled maintenance, and calibration of warehouse and warehouse equipment.
- Electrical parts experience strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or GED; six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong PC skills and product knowledge.
- Interpersonal, organizational, self‑sufficiency, detail‑oriented skills, and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Current DOT medical certificate and valid driver's license required.
Expected rate of pay: 18.00 to 20.00 hourly.
Physical DemandsOften standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping; occasional sitting, talking/hearing. Use of hands and fingers required. Lifting and carrying: continuous 1–20 lbs., frequent 21–50 lbs., occasional 51–100 lbs. Buddy‑lift or mechanical device advised. Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception.
