Role Description  The Cricket Museum Curator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The curator will oversee the acquisition, documentation, preservation, and display of cricket-related collections, ensuring that artifacts are properly cataloged and conserved. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and updating exhibitions, developing interpretive materials, coordinating educational programs and guided tours, and collaborating with stakeholders such as collectors, historians, and institutions.

The role also involves researching cricket history, refreshing exhibit narratives, managing collection records, and supporting outreach activities to enhance visitor engagement and grow the museum’s profile.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Collections Management and Museum Collections, including cataloging, documentation, and preservation of artifacts.
Candidates should possess skills in Museum Education, with experience designing educational programs, tours, and interpretive content for diverse audiences.
Candidates should possess knowledge in Museology, with understanding of museum practices, exhibition development, and visitor experience design.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Archaeology or related heritage disciplines, supporting research and contextualization of historical artifacts.
Additional beneficial qualifications include a degree in Museum Studies, History, Art History, Cultural Heritage, or a related field; familiarity with cricket history and culture; strong research and writing abilities; proficiency with collection management software; and excellent organizational and communication skills.
