Litigation - MSME

We are seeking a  Litigation - MSME  professional to handle all legal cases pertaining to  MSME loan defaults , recovery, and related disputes. You will be responsible for representing the bank in various legal forums, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and coordinating with external counsels to drive efficient litigation outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and the ability to handle pre-litigation notices and settlement negotiations.

Roles & Responsibilities :
Case Management :
Handle all legal cases pertaining to  MSME loan defaults , recovery, and related disputes across civil and criminal jurisdictions.
Legal Representation :
Represent the bank in various legal forums, courts, tribunals, and arbitration proceedings.
Documentation :
Draft, vet, and review legal documents, including plaints, written statements, affidavits, notices, and replies.
Coordination :
Coordinate with external legal counsels and recovery teams to drive efficient litigation outcomes. Maintain litigation  MIS  and ensure regular updates to internal stakeholders.
Compliance & Risk Analysis :
Ensure adherence to  SARFAESI, DRT, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC) , and the  RBI  regulatory framework in all legal actions. Conduct legal due diligence and risk analysis for MSME portfolio-related matters.
Pre-Litigation & Settlement :
Handle pre-litigation notices and support the negotiation and settlement of claims when feasible.

Skills Required:

Proven experience in handling legal cases related to  MSME loan defaults  and recovery.
Strong knowledge of civil and criminal litigation procedures.
Expertise in drafting and reviewing a wide range of legal documents.
Familiarity with the  SARFAESI, DRT, IBC , and  RBI  regulatory frameworks.
Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
