Associate Director-Software Delivery

- This Position reports to Group Delivery head.
- This position's designation would be Associate Director. This is a management level position.
- Manages a team of 100 with a direct reporting of Technical Delivery Managers, Architects, etc.
- This position is based in Pune in WFO working mode.

The key responsibilities would include –

- Delivery Management:
Define and execute the overall plan for the delivery unit which will include areas like - Revenue/account growth, Account receivables, Margins, Risk Management, Quality Management, Project governance, etc. Manage and monitor projects of wide variety and sizes – Startups, mid-size ISVs, Enterprises with complex products with modern Architecture / Technology Stack, Product Implementation and Support Projects. Manage key operational parameters for the unit - including utilization and resource pyramids.
- Should be willing to jump in and solve account / customer delivery issues, challenges and escalations and work with the Delivery Manager, Architects and Project Managers to resolve these issues.
- Customer Management:
Connect with and manage CXO level executives in customer organizations, own customer satisfaction, understand customer strategy and advise customer on their strategic direction.
- Upsell:
Have strategic conversations with customers to understand their product’s road map, and sell Harbinger’s solutions wherever possible.
- People Management:
Manage teams of around 100 people, create motivation, engagement, build strong people processes, coach and mentor top talent, create succession plans, etc.

Competency, Skills and desired experience.

- Should have minimum 15 years experience in the Information Technology sector, with around 5 years in a Leadership / Strategic / Management role
- Should have a Technical background:
Should be able to talk the language of Technical professionals, to understand customer situations and give advice. Should be willing to jump into customer escalations and work hands-on and lead the team with optimum solutions.
- Excellent client management skills
- Good business acumen skills. Should be able to see a business opportunity and sell Harbinger’s services and offerings.
- Self-starter, strong analytical skills, agility, Collaborative and relationship building skills.
- Excellent People Management, Leadership, and communications skills
- Strong project management and execution skills
- Should have experience of Delivery Management with Product / Service organizations. Experience in infra / Ops projects is not desirable.
