School Expansion Manager

Job Purpose
The School Expansion Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the expansion of the school network through new campus development and capacity enhancement of existing schools. The role focuses on identifying growth opportunities, managing project execution, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Expansion Planning & Strategy
• Develop short-term and long-term school expansion strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify potential locations for new schools based on demographic, market, and feasibility studies.
• Prepare business plans, budgets, and ROI projections for new projects.
2. New School Setup & Launch
• Lead end-to-end execution of new school projects from site selection to school launch.
• Coordinate infrastructure planning, construction, interiors, and statutory approvals.
• Ensure timely procurement of furniture, equipment, IT systems, and learning resources.
3. Regulatory & Compliance
• Ensure all statutory approvals are obtained.
• Liaise with education boards, government authorities, and local bodies.
4. Project Management
• Create project timelines and monitor milestones.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Track budgets and control costs.
5. Locations for new schools
• Identify potential locations
• Do a market survey and competitor analysis.
• Support onboarding and operational setup.
6. Brand & Quality Assurance
• Ensure new campuses adhere to brand standards, academic vision, and operational policies.
• Support recruitment of leadership teams for new schools.
• Oversee readiness audits prior to launch.
7. Stakeholder Coordination
• Work closely with academics, HR, finance, marketing, and operations teams.
• Report progress regularly to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
• Master’s degree in Education Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in school operations, project management, or education expansion.
• Prior experience in setting up new schools or managing multiple campuses preferred.
