Purpose of Job
We're seeking a strategic and results-driven Commercial Operations Manager with 10-12 years of experience in life sciences commercial operations and analytics. This senior role is ideal for a leader with a proven track record of designing and delivering high-impact commercial strategies for top pharma clients. You'll oversee complex initiatives, lead cross-functional teams, and drive operational excellence in areas such as incentive compensation, commercial analytics, CRM enablement, and data strategy, ensuring measurable client success.
We'll trust you to:
Strategic Leadership and Client Engagement
Lead the design and delivery of commercial operations solutions, aligning with client goals in incentive compensation, commercial analytics, CRM, and data strategy.
Manage high-profile client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders (e.g., Commercial Operations Leaders, Chief Commercial Officers).
Oversee project portfolios, setting priorities, identifying risks, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Drive innovation by integrating emerging trends, AI applications, and best practices in life sciences commercial operations.
Collaborate with global engagement managers to deliver unified, enterprise-level solutions across Market Access, Omni-channel, and Patient Services functions.
Solution Design and Oversight
Develop strategic frameworks for incentive compensation plans to optimize field performance and brand goals.
Guide the creation of commercial analytics and dashboards to provide actionable insights for field teams and executives.
Oversee master data management (MDM) strategies, leveraging AI to establishaccurate HCP–HCO hierarchies.
Lead the deployment of proprietary platforms for CRM, field enablement, and operational tools (e.g., roster management, alignment refinement).
Shape commercial data ecosystems through landscape assessments and strategic roadmaps.
Ensure solutions are scalable, client-focused, and aligned with industry trends.
Team Leadership and Development
Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering expertise in analytics, data interpretation, and commercial strategy.
Provide strategic guidance to consultants and analysts, ensuring quality and impact in deliverables.
Build a collaborative culture, supporting junior team members through coaching and professional growth opportunities.
Manage cross-functional teams in a global matrix environment, ensuring seamless project execution.
You'll need to have:
Graduate/Master's degree from a Tier-I/Tier-II institution with a strong academic record.
10–12 years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven success in delivering data-driven commercial strategies for life sciences companies, particularly in analytics, CRM, and data management.
Strategic expertise in commercial operations areas such as incentive compensation, MDM, and field enablement.
Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to manage and mentor diverse teams.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior client leadership.
Passion for innovation, with knowledge of AI, data science, and emerging trends in pharma commercial operations.
