Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune for an Agri Advisor specializing in BSc Agriculture experience. Key responsibilities include advising farmers on the usage of bio-organic products, providing technical support, conducting field demonstrations, and driving awareness about residue-free and sustainable agricultural practices. The role requires close collaboration with farming communities, farmer producer organizations (FPOs), and agripreneurs to promote the adoption of eco-friendly solutions.
Additionally, the Agri Advisor will monitor agricultural conditions, analyze crop data, and provide actionable recommendations to improve yield and soil health.
Qualifications
A degree in Agriculture (BSc Agriculture) with proven field and advisory experience in the agricultural domain
Knowledge of bio-organic products, biopesticides, and sustainable farming practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with farmers, FPOs, and other stakeholders
Ability to conduct field demonstrations and deliver technical training sessions for various audiences
Proficient analytical skills to assess crop health, soil conditions, and provide data-driven insights
Familiarity with regulatory standards in organic and residue-free farming is advantageous
Proficiency in regional languages and culturally sensitive communication is preferred
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently onsite and in the field
