Following the acquisition of a Managed IT services business, we are investing in the long‑term growth of this region. With operational infrastructure in place from our Pittsburgh headquarters, the foundation is set. Now we need a driven leader to take ownership and build a thriving market presence.

We are seeking a proven, self‑directed leader with entrepreneurial drive who can build a market from scratch and win business in complex IT environments.

Ascent Data is a leading Managed IT Services Provider and Data Center based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We help small to mid‑sized businesses succeed by transforming technology into value through advanced IT management, personalized strategy, and responsive support. With a strong operational backbone and a growth‑focused mindset, we empower our leaders with the tools, support, and autonomy needed to succeed.

Build and execute the go‑to‑market strategy and establish our presence in the Bozeman business community.

Report directly to the President with minimal bureaucracy and fast decision‑making.

Success in this role creates a clear pathway to expanded leadership as the company scales.

As the senior leader for Southwest Florida operations, you will own both commercial performance and local execution.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and execute a sales pipeline from scratch
• Drive full‑cycle sales from prospecting through close
• Develop and manage customer relationships and service delivery
• Oversee local operations, performance, and revenue growth

This role requires a balance of:

• Sales leadership and execution
• Technical fluency in IT infrastructure
• Operational accountability

• 5+ years selling managed IT services, colocation, cloud, or similar B2B technology solutions
• Proven ability to independently generate and close new business (hunter mentality)
• Technical fluency in infrastructure, managed services, networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical executives and non‑technical business owners
• Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and building from zero
• Ability to work independently while remaining aligned with executive leadership in Pittsburgh.
• Existing relationships within the Southwest Florida region, or broader Florida business community.
• Experience building or contributing to a sales process, or CRM pipeline from an early‑stage commercial environment.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to regional verticals (HIPAA, CMMC, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS).
• Experience selling to or serving healthcare, legal, financial services, construction, or government clients.
• Prior P&L or general management responsibility, even in a small‑business context.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally and occasionally to Pittsburgh
• Authorization to work in the United States

$180,000- $220,000 annual on‑target earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and variable commission with uncapped upside.

• Variable compensation includes recurring revenue commissions on managed services contracts and one‑time commissions on colocation leases, with accelerators for over‑performance
