Sign-on Bonus: $2,000
Position summary:
* Employee performs duties normally associated with LPN license in the CRF/ARF facility operated by a community behavioral health center.
* Services are provided to adults and children.
* Completes nursing examinations, assessments, implements plans, and evaluates patient status under the review of an RN.
* Provides nursing care; discusses medical changes with the patient; monitors vital signs, CIWA/COWS, administers medications and monitors for effectiveness, or signs of adverse reactions to medications.
* Provides medication and diagnosis-related information to patients, and answers questions as appropriate.
* Reviews patient medical charts and transcribes and/or prepares documents for doctor or APRN review and signature
* Maintains comprehensive and timely documentation including daily nursing notes.
* LPN provides work direction to technicians during shift.
