Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns;
Monitor access points and interior/exterior areas, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including evacuations and directing first responders as needed;
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate key information during shift briefings and/or post handoff
