Part Time

$19.00 / Hour

Day Time Tue 07:30 AM – 04:30 PM;
Wed 07:30 AM – 04:30 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, verifying credentials and/or directing individuals to the proper location as needed.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing guidance during unusual events, and communicating professionally with site personnel, first responders, and/or members of the public.

• Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
