HVAC​/Mechanical Foreman

Cool Sys is seeking an HVAC / Mechanical Foreman to lead field installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC-R and mechanical systems. In this safety-first role, you'll supervise technicians, coordinate daily work, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to Cool Sys quality standards. You'll interpret blueprints, oversee piping, ductwork, and equipment startup, and troubleshoot complex systems.

Collaborating closely with project managers and customers, you'll model integrity, mentor technicians, and support energy-efficient, reliable solutions across diverse facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise HVAC/mechanical field crews on commercial and industrial projects
• Plan daily work, assign tasks, and ensure projects meet schedule, scope, and quality standards
• Install, start up, and commission HVAC-R and mechanical systems, including piping and ductwork
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics to guide installation and layout
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC and mechanical system issues in the field
• Enforce safety policies and ensure OSHA and company safety compliance
• Train and mentor technicians, supporting technical development and best practices
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and customers on site requirements and changes
• Verify materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly used on site
• Complete job documentation, reports, and updates on project progress and issues
