* Provides evaluation and treatment to adults and youth in an inpatient behavioral health and substance use setting.
* Works collaboratively with Inpatient Psychiatrist and Chief Medical Officer
* Conducts thorough psychiatric evaluations that result in accurate diagnosis.
* Prescribes medications including MAT treatments as indicated.
* Assists with Baker Act and Marchman Act documentation and court process as needed.
* Demonstrates effective coordination to improve treatment outcomes and compliance.
* Coordinates with other providers, including the Primary Care Physician and other medical providers.
* Provides education to patients and families regarding diagnostic and medication related information.
* Works as part of the treatment team for all treatment and discharge planning needs.

* ** Qualifications
* ** Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing required.
* Current Florida licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) required.
* Current national board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) required.
* DEA license required
* Minimum one (1) year of post-master's clinical experience in psychiatric assessment and treatment under physician supervision, collaboration, or protocol required, consistent with F.S. 394.455.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in mental health and substance use.
* Experience working with both adults and children.
* Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.
* Valid FL drivers’ license, insurance, and safe driving record.
* Dependable transportation (registered, safe operating conditions, etc.).
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
* Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
* Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in all driving conditions.
* Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
* Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
* Ability to use a computer.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in collaboration with other community partners.
* Ability to manage stressful situations and display appropriate work demeanor and boundaries.
