Overnight Aircraft Cleaner

Summary

This position will develop competency to be responsible for ensuring that Allegiant Air’s appearance standards for the interior of the aircraft are met on a consistent basis.

• At least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude.
• Detail oriented.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.

• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Pass a complete background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to attend and successfully complete required training and recurrent training including, but not limited to, computer-based training.
• Work in extreme outdoor conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. on a continuous basis.

• Performs interior and deep cleaning functions of the aircraft as required.
• Stock aircraft with necessary supplies, i.e., in-flight magazines and lavatory supplies.
• Frequent use of cleaning fluids and materials, such as washing solutions, scrapers, squeegees, wringer pails, and vacuum cleaners. Completes forms connected to work assignments according to established procedures.
• Disposing of trash, rubbish, and waste that is incidental and related to the applicable job functions.
• Inventory tracking.
• Responsible for Aircraft Security Searches and Commissary Security Searches as required.
• Operate heavy, motorized machinery/equipment including, but not limited to tugs, tractors, belt loaders, bag carts, etc.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.
• Other duties as assigned.

Regular attendance is a requirement. The role requires standing, sitting, talking, hearing, seeing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and using hands and fingers to operate various types of tools and equipment (hand trucks, carts, ramps, tugs, etc.). Candidates must lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. and push and/or pull up to 100 lbs. The job may require 24-hour shifts and exposure to heights, small spaces, extreme noise, temperature, wind, light fluctuations, and confined areas.

Ability to crawl in and out of small spaces for extended periods and wear personal protective gear is necessary. Some travel may be required.

Allegiant is a national air carrier designated as an essential service provider during declared national and state emergencies. Team Members will be required to report to their assigned trip or work location during emergencies unless prohibited by local, state or federal order.
