We are seeking a hands-on, high-impact Controller to lead accounting operations for a growing multi-location platform. This role is ideal for a leader who combines technical accounting strength with a builder mindset - someone who can maintain financial accuracy today while creating the systems, controls, and playbooks needed to support aggressive growth through acquisitions.

What We're Looking For

• Active CPA license required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership in a Controller or senior accounting management role
• Controllership experience in a private equity-backed company strongly preferred
• Proven success in a business growing aggressively through acquisitions
• Strong experience building processes, controls, and scalable workflows in a fast-paced environment
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, audit leadership, and financial reporting
• Track record of integrating acquired businesses into a common ERP and accounting structure
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems preferred
• Prior experience in construction, restoration, or project-based services is highly desirable
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Purcellville, VA
