OverviewGeneral Description: As a Striping Foreman you will lead pavement marking crews on commercial and residential projects throughout the Northern VA and Maryland area. You will work as part of a team to deliver quality work performing the following tasks. This position may also require routine repair and maintenance of equipment in addition to other duties.
Responsibilities- Lead, direct, and supervise a striping crew
- Operate and maintain airless striping machines
- Perform layout, line striping, and stenciling
- Read site plans and interpret maps
- May be called upon to run small power tools
- Complete daily reports and manage materials
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Parking lot layout/pavement marking/striping experience
- Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
- Be able to work overtime when required
- Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
- Must have strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Communication skills: ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures
