A well established public accounting firm in Purchase, NY is hiring an Audit Senior, and this is a rare one. Strong base, real ownership, and a partner group that actually promotes from within.
The firm owns a niche most accountants never touch: co-ops, condominiums, and nonprofits. If you have audited common interest realty associations or mission driven organizations, you will fit right in. If you have not but you are sharp and want to specialize, they will teach you.
Here is what sets this apart. Seniors run their own engagements, mentor staff, and build direct client relationships from day one. No waiting your turn. The people who do strong work move up, and they move up fast.
What you will do:Lead audit engagements from planning through completion. Review associate work and coach along the way. Own client communication. Help shape how the practice grows.
What they want:Two or more years of public accounting audit experience. CPA or active candidate preferred. Co-op, condo, or nonprofit exposure is a plus, not a requirement. Organized, driven, and a team player who likes being in the room.
Compensation:$100-140K base depending on experience, full benefits, and a clear runway into management.
