About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing manufacturing company with an entrepreneurial spirit. After successfully building and selling a previous business, the founder launched a new venture focused on innovative retail products. With significant growth on the horizon, they are seeking a hands-on Controller to manage financial operations and ensure smooth cash flow.

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger management
• Ensure timely invoicing and collections, proactively following up on outstanding payments
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business growth
• Manage payroll, tax filings, and compliance with financial regulations
• Utilize Sage accounting software and Excel for financial tracking and reporting
• Collaborate with leadership to improve financial processes and efficiencies

• 8+ years of experience in accounting or financial management
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, collections, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Sage (or similar accounting software) and Excel
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a small business or startup environment is a plus
