Overview
Mastercard Identity, within the Security Solutions organization, leads the development of identity products and services that enable global commerce, power financial inclusion, prevent crime, and deliver seamless digital experiences. The VP of Identity Platform partners closely with stakeholders to define requirements for Mastercard’s Identity platform and to shape a roadmap that expands and enhances this capability - unlocking critical use cases across the ecosystem.
Responsibilities- Lead product development for new identity verification offerings.
- Evolve product strategy; define vision and roadmap to align with customer needs.
- Develop a prioritized view of customer needs and market opportunities by segment and use cases; evolve roadmap accordingly.
- Manage the development of business requirements and communication to the platform and engineering teams.
- Define and monitor success metrics and KPIs to ensure the effectiveness of product offerings; enhance offerings based on performance and the voice of the customer.
- Responsible for P&L and defining plans in collaboration with global commercialization teams to meet established revenue goals.
- Drive ongoing evaluation of potential partners; develop and maintain intelligence on key players in the value chain from both a global and regional perspective.
- Extensive product development and product management experience is required - including experience managing a P&L and establishing revenue growth trajectory for product(s).
- Domain experience in payments, identity verification, integrated identity platforms, and/or authentication is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant security trends, technology, industry standards, and vendor landscape is preferred.
- Direct management experience with a proven track record of developing employees and team building is preferred.
- Strong leader with the ability to drive tangible results with business partners.
- Superior communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Successful track record engaging at senior levels in the organization and with partners.
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced or master’s degree preferred.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
