Senior Associate, M&A Integration Overview:

The Senior Associate, M&A Integration is a key member of a highly visible enterprise integration team responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of acquisitions and divestitures. This role partners closely with business and functional leaders to translate integration strategy into actionable plans, manage cross‑functional dependencies, and drive disciplined execution across the integration lifecycle.

Reporting to the VP, M&A Integration, the Senior Associate plays a hands‑on role in integration governance, execution management, and performance tracking, helping ensure integrations are delivered on time, aligned to strategic objectives, and executed in a consistent, repeatable manner. This position is based at our Headquarters in Purchase, NY.

Role
  • Provide support for all phases of acquisition integration (integration strategy development, planning, execution and performance management, etc.) and divestiture management (separation planning, TSA development, due diligence, and separation execution).
  • Partner with Business and Functional teams to align on integration scope, develop integration plans, identify cross-functional dependencies, and manage integration execution.
  • Lead regular meeting cadences including cross-functional program calls, workstream 1:1s, etc.
  • Support Steering Committee presentations including drafting agenda and materials in partnership with business and functional stakeholders.
  • Support the quarterly M&A scorecard process including tracking business and operational KPIs.
  • Support implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance M&A outcomes including refining the next version of Mastercard’s integration playbook.
