Pepsi Co's Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team is responsible for generating, managing and executing mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, and strategic activities across all of Pepsi Co's business units. This fast paced, collaborative team of M&A professionals focuses on the inorganic agenda of Pepsi Co's global beverage and snack product portfolio, making a direct impact on the company's future success.

This role will be a rewarding opportunity for both personal and professional growth where you will have the unique opportunity to drive Pepsi Co's inorganic agenda, solve complex strategic problems, and work with global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will report to a Senior Director while having direct interaction with the Head of Corporate M&A, as well as other senior company executives, and participate in all stages of executing strategic transactions for Pepsi Co globally.

This is a hybrid role based in our Purchase, NY office.

Responsibilities

Support Pepsi Co divisions' business leaders, senior corporate executives and strategy teams to screen, analyze and develop M&A strategy and pipeline

Collaborate with business and functional teams to synthesize industry/category dynamics and all aspects of the business case development (strategic rationale, financial analyses) to evaluate opportunities

Lead cross-functional team to execute a wide range of strategic activities, including, but not limited to, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and minority investments

Influence key decision makers to create internal alignment

Compensation and Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is between $123,500 - $206,750.

Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.

Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of transaction execution experience either in corporate development / M&A department of a corporation, investment bank, private equity or similar financial services institution; or work within a management consulting firm's M&A/Corporate development practice

Ability to evaluate potential opportunities through the development of valuation models to reflect detailed business case assumptions with the flexibility to run scenarios / sensitivities

Strong quantitative and analytical skills; effective verbal and written communication

This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA degree is highly preferred

Food and/or beverage experience, or related consumer products background is preferred

Ability to drive results on multiple projects in parallel

Strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity; highly analytical and skilled at valuation methodologies and financial analysis

Expertise in screening and analyzing potential opportunities for strategic fit and conducting business due diligence

Strong ability to work collaboratively within teams across the organization

Experience in being part of large cross-functional teams in a global, matrix organization

Proven ability to lead and manage multiple complex M&A projects in parallel

Strategic thinker with the ability to think big picture without losing sight to details

Skillful at building trust with and influencing senior-level stakeholders

Proven ability to hit the ground running and adapt to new environment

Strong ability to work collaboratively within teams across the organization
