Associate Director, Financial Reporting & Analysis

Our client is a drug discovery and development company. They seek an Associate Director, Financial Reporting & Analysis to join their Purchase, NY office.

• Compile SEC filings and public reporting documents, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, S-3, proxy statements, and earnings releases
• Analyze business performance through budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Construct financial frameworks to support clinical study forecasting and operational decision-making
• Facilitate federal and state tax compliance activities in coordination with external advisors
• Maintain internal control processes and SOX compliance programs across the organization
• Administer equity compensation programs, including grants, exercises, terminations, and stakeholder support
• Oversee procurement, contract management, and financial obligations to ensure compliance with contractual and accounting requirements
• Leverage financial systems and reporting tools to deliver timely analysis and operational insights
• Prepare board and audit committee materials while partnering with key stakeholders to align financial and corporate objectives
• Enhance FP&A processes, support month-end close activities, and contribute to cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives

• 5-10 years of FP&A experience
• Must have public company/SEC reporting experience
• Big 4/National accounting background is required
• Open to industry, but biotech/pharma preferred
