WhoYou Are
We are seeking a Customer Service and detail-oriented person to run the BWG Global IT helpdesk and maintain a limited amount of IT Infrastructure. This role is primarily focused Microsoft 365, Email platfoms, and end user hardware, with a small Linux environment to keep running.
What You ll Do- Ensure timely and accurate responses to, or delegation of, IT Helpdesk tickets:
You will manage the queue and solve an increasing number of ticket types without delegation over time, while maintaining the list and helping hold the rest of the IT Team accountable for timely closure of issues. - Build out the Knowledgebase/FAQ:
As issues are solved, the Knowledgebase you will maintain should grow. Should the ticket result in an improvement to the onboarding process or simply a one off we document how to solve more quickly next time. - Support our L&D Initiatives:
Maintain our SharePoint intranet with How-to both IT focused and outside of IT supporting other subject matter experts. - Support Digital Outreach: BWG has a complex email environment which is constantly evolving. Your experience with the technical considerations for cold outreach will be tested.
- Maintain a secure endpoint environment:
- Ensure all IT Hardware is appropriately tracked in our inventory/asset management system
- Security and functional patches are applied timely through RMM
- Perform basic hardware maintenance and upgrades as needed
- Actively monitor and intercept SPAM and Phishing attempts
- Monitor and administer Linux cluster:
Monitor existing jobs and on occasion augment schedules or scripts as needed. - Run standard IT Processes:
Processes such as onboarding/offboarding of employees and coordinating equipment with remote colleagues, issuing emails addresses, phone lines, etc.

WhatYou Bring
- Education:
Computer Science Degree is a plus, as are CompTIA and Azure certifications. - Experience:
5+ years of experience in supporting Microsoft 365/Azure Active Directory - Skills:
- Deep understanding of Azure/Microsoft 365 and Powershell/Bash to automate
- Deep understanding of email security and deliverability
- Proficient in several flavors of Linux
- Proficient in the basics of IT Security including SSL Certificates and Anti-phishing techniques
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery and working with software delivery teams
- Preferred:
- General business acumen, tying your deliverables to business outcomes
- Ability and eagerness to learn the cutting edge of technology
NY Metro area. This is a full-time position with hybrid opportunities available.
Salary: $85,000
