Vice President, Digital Product Analytics & Insights

Product Data & Analytics is a centralized global team that enabled business units to make better data driven decisions. We build internal analytic partnerships, strengthening focus on the health of the business, portfolio and revenue optimization opportunities, initiative tracking, new product development and Go-To Market strategies.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement the analytics strategy to support business goals and drive company growth for Digital, specifically for Authentication and Tokenization.
- Work closely with senior leadership of the global product team of the business units, finance, and regional teams to understand their analytical needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Lead development of reporting tools, including data collection, data transformation, and visualization, to standardize definitions and make it more accessible in a self-serving manner.
- Contribute to strategic projects through a data lens with a consultative approach with internal stakeholders.
- Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams.
- Lead and mentor a team of ~10 data scientists/analysts/engineers based in India and Portugal, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Apply quality control, data engineering practices and other standardized processes in place within the team.
- Be a leader in driving cross-team innovation, sharing and leveraging best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in leading Analytics for large businesses, driving innovation to be more data-driven, including challenging the status-quo.
- Experience in working with executive business stakeholders, translating their business requirements into technical requirements, and subsequently leading the execution and presenting findings.
- Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing and globally distributed analytics teams.
- Experience in data management, data mining, data analytics, data reporting, data product development and quantitative analysis.
- Experience on Platforms/Environments:
Cloudera Hadoop, Big data technology stack, Databricks, SQL Server, Microsoft BI Stack. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau & PowerBI.
- Excellent problem solving, quantitative and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Team player, excellent communication (oral/written) skills.
- Financial Institution or a Payments experience a plus.
- Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices.
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed.
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach.
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
Purchase, New York: $244,000 - $390,000 USD
New York City, New York: $254,000 - $407,000 USD
In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
