Tech Venturing & Innovation Associate Manager, Commercial
Pepsi Co Labs is the Tech Venturing & Innovation arm of Pepsi Co. We are a small and nimble team that works globally across the Pepsi Co organization to identify strategic business priorities, bring external technology innovation perspectives and enable rapid pilots to prove the technology and business value to enable scale up of the most impactful capabilities.
Within Pepsi Co, we partner closely with business, function and transformation leaders to focus on the biggest innovation priorities. Externally, we work with a broad ecosystem of Venture Capital firms, other corporate innovation groups and the tech startup ecosystem to identify the leading emerging technologies, enable rapid pilots and systematic scale ups.
As a Tech Venturing & Innovation Associate Manager, Commercial, you will need to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies, especially those relevant to Sales & GTM functions. You will support the innovation process, from discovery of needs, to scouting, piloting, and scaling across Pepsi Co.
ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functionally to support the execution of strategic tech innovation programs
Build project deliverables in partnership with project leaders
Develop briefs for new capabilities
Drive the startup evaluation and selection process through logical and analytical thinking with fact-based insights
Lead the rapid pilot onboarding process and own startup vendor management
Lead the startup use case research, analysis & evaluation of solution fit to use case
Build use case assessment criteria to systematically evaluate startup technologies & capabilities based on requirements
Execute solution evaluation
Engage & coordinate cross functional SMEs input to assessment criteria
Support pilot planning and execution
Develop pilot charter with clear objectives, scope and aligned KPIs
Support pilot execution and tracking
Maintain an external mindset, including staying on top of consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic / technology trends
Contribute to capability building for the entire Pepsi Co Labs function (e.g., Training, Knowledge Management, Process documentation, etc.)
Manage and coordinate logistics for sector, functional and Labs program meetings with internal and external participants
Compensation and BenefitsThe expected compensation range for this position is between $127,500 - $155,000.
Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Bachelor's degree required
7-8 years working experience in technology, digital transformation/innovation, consulting, CPG
Avid interest in technology & innovation, ability to learn new areas quickly
Strong communication skills and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
Results-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against tight timelines
Comfortable working independently while taking ownership of complex deliverables and driving them to execution
Demonstrates leadership potential through experience leading cross-functional work streams or initiatives
Ability to manage up, influence stakeholders, and facilitate alignment across teams to move the project forward
High standard of professional maturity, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset
Technical understanding & comprehension of emerging technology solutions
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Copilot, and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications
