Overview
The Senior Manager, Business Strategy provides critical operational, governance, and strategic execution support to the PBUS Chief of Staff and PBUS President. This role strengthens the Office of the PBUS President by ensuring disciplined follow‑through on governance requirements, developing leadership content, managing cross‑functional deliverables, and driving organizational alignment. This role reports into the Chief of Staff to the PBUS President.
Responsibilities- Serve as an extension of the Chief of Staff providing support to capture, track, and manage timely follow‑ups on key action items from PBUS governance forums, including PBUS ExComm, NA OpComm, NA ExComm, SMM, and National Sales Meeting.
- Support development and execution of PBUS leadership governance deliverables.
- Develop and coordinate leadership presentations, messaging, and key deliverables needed for the new weekly PBUS ExComm cadence.
- Build “Executive ready” project deliverables, including briefs and presentations for leadership engagements, town halls, and cross‑functional communications.
- Partner closely with Comms, Industry Relations, Marketing, and Commercial teams to align on messaging, business performance inputs, and execution of PBUS’s “No Debate” principles.
- Coordinate cross‑functional work streams related to PBUS and 1NA priorities, ensuring alignment across PBUS and PFUS Chief of Staff teams.
- Maintain visibility across emerging business challenges and connect the Chief of Staff to critical business issues, risks, and opportunities.
- Thought partnership to the PBUS President, Chief of Staff and other PBUS ExComm leaders on a range of critical topics.
- Manage special projects on behalf of the Chief of Staff and PBUS President, including executive deliverables, leadership requests, and strategic initiatives.
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $123,500 - $206,750.

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.

- BA required (MBA strongly preferred)
- 6–10 years of experience in marketing, commercial, strategy or operations roles.
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior executives and cross‑functional teams of diverse styles, skill sets and experience levels to achieve organizational goals.
- Executive level influencing, savvy & leadership presence; ability to “bring people along.”
- Strong project management skills including high attention to detail and strong follow‑through to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Exceptional communication, executive storytelling, and slide development skills.
- Strong analytical capability with ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
- Demonstrated understanding of Pepsi Co’s business, the marketplace / competitor landscape and key food and beverage trends and initiatives both internally and externally.
- Strong strategy or strategic thinking background (i.e., strategy or consulting background).
- Beverages experience preferred.
