Location: Putnam, CT
Job SummaryActs in the capacity of Administrative Coordinator to Vice President (VP) and the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the Day Kimball Medical Group (DKMG), overseeing day‑to‑day operations of the DKMG administrative office and serving as a resource to the entire administrative team.
Responsibilities- Serves as Administrative Coordinator to the VP and the CMO of the DKMG, overseeing operations of the administrative office, physician liaison functions, calendar management, and office organization including AP processing.
- Coordinates and completes special projects for the VP and CMO, and develops, coordinates and manages team projects and physician liaison activities for the DKMG, utilizing appropriate software products such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Adobe Professional.
- Serves as coordinator of the DKMG Board of Directors as well as the Finance, Medical Leadership and Operations Committee meetings: scheduling meetings, coordinating and publishing meeting packets, preparing meeting materials, attending meetings, taking minutes, and acting as liaison between the VP and CMO of DKMG and committee members.
- Assists Physicians and HR as needed, including preparation of offer letters for new providers, contract execution and renewals, license and DEA acquisition and renewal, CME tracking and coordination of expenses and allowance remaining, and other physician assistance as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Business‑related field preferred
- Computer literacy required in Microsoft Office Suite of products, Visio, Adobe and ability to learn new software is mandatory
- Minimum of five (5) years business experience supporting Senior Management / Executive level
- Strong Financial background required
