We are seeking an experienced Reimbursement Manager to lead reimbursement reporting, cost reporting, regulatory filings, and healthcare financial reporting functions within an acute care hospital environment.
This role will serve as a key resource for Medicare cost reporting, reimbursement analytics, compliance reporting, and revenue cycle operations while partnering across finance and operational departments.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage Medicare Cost Report activities
- Gather, analyze, and validate reimbursement-related data from multiple systems
- Prepare and support quarterly and annual state and federal reporting requirements
- Partner with consultants on reimbursement and compliance initiatives
- Perform complex reimbursement analysis and financial reporting
- Support month-end close activities and operational statistics reporting
- Participate in charge master reviews and process improvement projects
- Identify reporting efficiencies and best practices
- Acute care hospital experience
- Healthcare revenue cycle experience
- Medicare Cost Report experience
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Hospital finance or accounting experience
- Regulatory compliance reporting experience
- Experience working with reimbursement consultants
- Proven project management skills
