Location:

Putnam, CT (Medical Department)

• Assist with coordination of patient flow, and prepare patients for examination and procedures.
• Clean and sterilize medical equipment and maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Document waived testing, controls, and medications in compliance with agency protocols.
• Perform administrative functions, including filing of lab reports.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited clinical medical assistant, certified nursing assistant, or emergency medical technician program.
• For MA graduates: certification (CMA/AAMA) preferred and primary care experience preferred.
• For CNA: maintain current Connecticut CNA certification and at least one year of clinical work experience.
• For EMT: maintain current Connecticut EMT certification and at least six months of clinical work experience.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred at applicable sites.

Pay Rate: $19.79 per hour.
