Position: Part time School Psychologist 36-week Contract *Up to 70/hr

Part-time School Psychologist for a 36-week contract in Putnam, Connecticut. Provide psychological assessment, counseling, and individualized support plans for high-school students. Impact includes improving student mental health and academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological assessments for students in grades 9-12

  • Develop and implement individualized support plans

  • Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and students to promote mental health and academic success

  • Provide counseling and behavioral interventions as needed

  • Maintain documentation and compliance with district policies

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field;
    Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or equivalent

  • Valid State School Psychologist Certification or License

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in school settings with strong student assessment, counseling, and developmental support skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Background check clearance and compliance with school district policies

  • Patience, adaptability, and teamwork
