Day Kimball Health is hiring for a Technical Analyst I to join our Information Technology in Putnam, CT!
Schedule:
Day Shift, 40 Hours Per Week

All Technical Analyst I
* The person(s) in this position should be able to work independently with minimal to moderate supervision and be able to perform multiple tasks at one time
* Work on projects as assigned
* Respond to and complete help desk tickets assigned
* Assist Desktop Support Technicians with second-level support
* Other duties as assigned
Client Services
* Manage help desk application to optimize operations
* Manage user account moves, adds, changes, deletions
* Manage RightFAX environment
* Assist with system maintenance (including virtual servers, clustered servers, storage, etc.) including repair, replacement, basic configuration and/or installation of applications
* Coordinate and collaborate with other members of the Client Services team as well as the Information Technology Department as whole
Data, Voice, and Security Services
* Monitor network, telephony, and security systems
* Monitor wiring closets and telephony rooms
* Perform maintenance (including wired and wireless networks, telephony, firewalls, access gateways, etc. ) including repair, replacement, basic configuration and/or installation of these systems
* Coordinate and collaborate with other members of the Data, Voice, and Security Services team as well as the Information Technology Department as whole
Infrastructure Services
* Monitor routine data backup and recovery systems
* Monitor VMware and Citrix environments
* Monitor data center(s)
* Perform maintenance (including virtual servers, clustered servers, storage, etc.) including repair, replacement, basic configuration and/or installation of servers
* Coordinate and collaborate with other members of the Infrastructure Services team as well as the Information Technology Department as whole
Technical Analyst
Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
All Technical Analyst I
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Client Services
* A+ certifications preferred
* Microsoft certifications preferred
* ITIL certifications preferred
Data, Voice, and Security Services
* A+ certifications preferred
* Microsoft certifications preferred
* Avaya certifications preferred
* Cisco certifications preferred
Infrastructure Services
* A+ certifications preferred
* Microsoft certifications preferred
* VMware certifications preferred
* Citrix certifications preferred
EMC certifications preferred
Experience:
All Technical Analyst I
* Experience with Active Directory required
* Experience with Microsoft Server required, current version preferred
* 1 - 2 years experience in a direct systems support role required, 3 - 5 years' experience preferred
* 3 - 5 years working in the Information Technology industry, including direct evidentiary talents and responsibilities for supporting back-office systems, applications, and workstations.
Client Services
* Experience with Citrix technologies required
* Experience with RightFAX technologies required
* Experience with customer service management software
Data, Voice, and Security Services
* Experience with Microsoft and Info Blox DNS and/or DHCP
* Experience with Cisco enterprise networking
* Experience with Avaya communications technologies
Infrastructure Services
* Background in HP servers preferred
* Experience with VMware technologies preferred
* Experience with Citrix technologies required
* Experience with EMC Storage including SAN, Data Domain, and Avamar
* Experience with Microsoft Server required, current version preferred
* Experience with Microsoft and Info Blox DNS and/or DHCP
