Position Overview
As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our manufacturing team, utilizing your expertise in welding operations to produce high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Execute precision welding tasks ensuring quality standards are consistently met. Carefully inspect and confirm work compliances before final inspections.
- Adhere to designated time frames for task completion while maintaining equipment in top condition.
- Utilize TIG welding techniques to efficiently construct and assemble metal products. Conclude tasks by returning all tools and fixtures used.
- Report unforeseen issues to supervisors and apply problem-solving skills to standard manufacturing challenges, or request guidance as needed.
- Engage effectively with colleagues to manage workflow and suggest process improvements to the 6s team lead.
- Utilize the E2 management system to comply with all corporate protocols.
- Embrace other duties as they arise, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to throughout operations.
- Fulfill job deadlines, ensuring client delivery expectations are met alongside quality mandates.
- Conduct all tasks in accordance with safety protocols.
- Expertise in welding thin gauge materials with precision and aesthetic appeal.
- Proficient in TIG and knowledgeable in MIG welders.
- Basic numeracy and capability to operate shop tools efficiently.
- Know-how in interpreting blueprints and technical specifications related to machinery operations.
- A deep commitment to continuous enhancement and a readiness to advocate for process changes to foster an efficient work culture.
- Ability to organize, manage time effectively, and independently handle multiple projects.
- Strong interpersonal abilities coupled with solid communication skills.
- Basic computer prowess.
- A minimum of five years in a manufacturing setting and a valid driver's license.
