Production Operator II - Day Shift

Production Operator II – Located in Putnam, CT
. This role is responsible for setting up, starting up, operating, and shutting down manufacturing equipment and processes according to standard work instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Good Documentation Practices. It reports to the Value Stream Leader in the Production Operations department and is an on-site position.

• Operate production equipment to manufacture product per standard work.
• Follow a weekly schedule and communicate potential production issues to manager in a timely manner.
• Complete all documentation and follow all GDP guidelines related to manufacturing processes in a timely manner.
• Follow all practices and procedures regarding safety and quality compliance including OSHA, cGMP, ISO 9001 & ISO 14000 requirements.

• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with 2+ years manufacturing experience.
• Push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Go up and down stairs to operate equipment.
• Basic math and computer skills.

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs, or any other physical requirements.

• Experience in an ISO or cGMP environment preferred.

Salary range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour. The salary range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
