The Job Cost Accountant is a detail‑oriented and essential role responsible for the financial health and reporting accuracy of our projects. This position supports the Accounting and Operations teams through the accurate input and posting of payables and receivables, tracking of project budgets, and compliance support. You'll also process subcontracts and change orders, monitor certified payrolls for prevailing wage compliance, and ensure proper documentation is on file before payment is issued.

What You’ll Do- Review and process vendor invoices and subcontractor pay applications
- Process subcontracts and change orders
- Review certified payrolls for compliance with State and Federal prevailing wage laws; calculate restitution if needed
- Coordinate project startup and closeout accounting processes
- Review lien releases, pre‑claim notices, and other compliance documentation
- Process employee expense reports
- Code and reconcile documentation related to company credit cards
- 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience with construction accounting software (e.g., Viewpoint, GCpay, LCPtracker)
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
- Strong understanding of construction project workflows and budgets
- A commitment to collaboration, safety, and inclusion
- Able to pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screen (Federal Contractor requirement)
Salary offers are typically made between the entry and midpoint of the range and are based on factors such as experience, education, and internal equity.
Pay Transparency: $28 USD - $38 USD
