Used Car Technician-Hyundai

We are looking for a Used Car Technician/Mechanic to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background.

The day-to-day duties include performing safety inspections on vehicles and completing required repairs.

Flat Rate Hourly Pay Range: $25.83 to $34.94

Targeting Hiring Range - Hourly Flat Rate: $25.83 $ 30.00

• Perform safety inspections on used vehicles
• Complete appropriate repairs and recalls as required
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager and Used Vehicle Reconditioning Manager to ensure reconditioning meets standards and is completed on time

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience at a dealership is preferred
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoys working in a dynamic environment
• A teammate with the ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
