Registered Dental Hygienist

We are looking for an outgoing and friendly Dental Hygienist with strong interpersonal skills to join our fast‑paced dental office. Experience is preferred, and a current dental hygienist license is required. We are seeking someone to cover three days per week
, with the possibility of increasing days in the future.

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination.
• Properly sterilize dental instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Conduct initial oral health screenings and review patient health histories.
• Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis.
• Clean and help protect patients' teeth (e.g., remove plaque, apply fluoride).
• Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Provide post‑treatment instructions following dental procedures.
• Take dental X‑rays and impressions as needed.
• Assist dentists in selecting appropriate treatments for various oral health conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation.
• Monitor and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.

• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role preferred.
• In‑depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA compliance).
• Experience preparing, maintaining, and using dental equipment.
• Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
• Friendly, professional, and patient‑focused attitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Diploma in Dental Hygiene (Master's degree is a plus).
• Valid Dental Hygienist license.

• Part‑time
• Three days per week
• Opportunity for additional days in the future

$60–$70 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
