Notes: THIS POSTING IS FOR THE 2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR
The position of Elementary Principal is done for the purpose/s of maintaining overall school site operations; receiving, distributing and communicating information to enforce school, District and State policies; maintaining safety of school environment; coordinating site activities; communicating information to staff; and addressing situations, problems and/or conflicts.
Responsibilities- Provides instructional leadership and professional development to all staff members.
- Fosters and develops a positive school culture and effective learning environment.
- Engages parents and community members in supporting a positive, welcoming school environment, supportive of all students.
- Maintains student safety and handles special cases as necessary.
- Evaluates certificated and classified staff members.
- Participates on committees pertinent to the operation of the district.
- Conducts employee investigations as appropriate.
- Maintains appropriate school resources such as budget and staffing.
Current Salary Schedule is for 2025-26 SY. Salary Schedule for the 2026-27 SY will be posted in the spring of 2026.
Education and Experience- Master's degree in Educational Administration.
- Five (5) years of experience as a classroom teacher is required.
- Experience as an Assistant Principal or Principal preferred.
- Valid state certificate to practice as a school administrator required.
