Job Functions:

• Provide children with a developmentally appropriate program that meets the spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs of the children
• Implement activities from curriculum, manage supplies, set up and prep work of materials and program space
• Teach and actively engage students in each activity
• Ensure the safety of children and staff at all times
• Provide a warm, clean and loving atmosphere
• Assist with and actively participate in all areas of the THRIVE program
• Willingness to work between the McAlder, Puyallup, and Frederickson locations

• Must be eighteen years of age
• Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools’ Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
• Have a background clearance
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have a food worker card, if applicable
• Willing to complete HIV/AIDS training and annual blood borne pathogens training
• Attend an agency orientation
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors; can be subjected to inclement weather
• Ability to lift 30 lbs, hike, swim, climb stairs
• Accept supervision and guidance from supervisors and administrators
• Perform all expected duties in a professional manner

Salary Range: $17.80 per Hour

Benefits: Paid Sick Leave

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, Hours Vary
