Assistant Superintendent of Instruction and Achievement
Hours:
8 Hours/Day
Calendar: 250-Day
Rate: 1.0 FTE
Responsibilities- Ensures instruction reflects best practices, equity, and inclusion
- Evaluates effectiveness of district programs and student outcomes
- Leads and supports School Improvement Plan (SIP) process
- Aligns school plans with district Strategic Direction Plan
- Provides strategic vision aligned with district goals
- Oversees instructional policies and regulations
- Presents updates and policies at school board meetings
- Leads professional learning for administrators
- Collaborates with Superintendent's Cabinet for improvement and innovation
- Mentors and supports Executive Directors
- Supervises and coaches comprehensive high school principals
- Coordinates cross-department academic goals and projects
- Manages budgets and aligns staffing/resources with goals
- Supports discipline and behavior strategies for safe schools
- Partners with families, community, and external groups
- Handles escalated concerns and complaints
- Mediates conflicts and builds collaborative solutions
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, with Program, Principal, or Superintendent certification or credentials.
- 3-5 years of successful experience as a principal and/or central office administrator.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data effectively and use it to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in researching, designing, and implementing instructional practices, curriculum development, and professional development.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including staff, families, and community partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to foster relationships, build trust, and promote collaboration.
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment for all students.
- Proven experience supervising and leading principals and/or central office administrators.

- Provide a minimum of 3 professional references from current and former supervisors, including their email addresses. Ensure these references respond promptly.
