The Academic Coordinator supports high-quality teaching and student learning by overseeing effective Canvas (LMS) use and leading the campus-wide WIN (What’s Important Now) enrichment and intervention program. This role helps maintain strong academic systems and programs that support student success.
Position Responsibilities- Monitor and support teacher use of Canvas, including timely updates, alignment to standards, and consistency across courses
- Provide training, feedback, and guidance to improve instructional use of Canvas
- Partner with administration to refine expectations and conduct periodic course audits
- Oversight of JH/HS curriculum mapping
- Lead the Thursday WIN (enrichment/intervention) program, including vision, structure, scheduling, and staffing
- Ensure students receive targeted support or enrichment based on data and teacher input
- Monitor effectiveness and continuously improve the WIN program
- Support school improvement goals and assist with master schedule development
- Provide professional learning in Canvas, differentiation, and intervention strategies
- Facilitate collaboration across teachers, teams, and departments
- Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools’ statement of faith and teaching statements
- Demonstrates Christian character in attitude, speech, and actions
- Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of teaching experience
- Experience with Canvas or other LMS platforms
- Knowledge of grades 7–12 school operations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to design intervention and enrichment systems
- Commitment to a respectful, inclusive school environment
- Availability for meetings, devotions, and occasional evening events
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing) and able to pass a background check
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:15am to 3:15pm
Start DateApproximately August 19, 2026
Salary Range$26.25 - $29.15 per hour, depending on education and experience
