Founded in 1992, Cascade Christian Schools serves students and families throughout Pierce County with a Christ-centered education mission.
Responsibilities- Assist with faculty mentoring and serve as an instructional coach as directed by the junior high or high school principal.
- Facilitate student support team meetings and follow‑up.
- Assist with leading and organizing faculty professional development as requested by junior high and/or high school principals.
- Ensure grade books and lesson plans are up to date and meet CCS Faculty Standards.
- Coordinate and organize 4 Pillar Assemblies with the school registrar.
- Work with program leads and the registrar to maintain student eligibility standards.
- Work with principals and the dean of students to communicate and maintain appropriate behavioral expectations.
- Assist principals with daily school operations and schedule planning.
- Provide discipleship/counseling as requested.
- Perform high‑school lunch duty two to three days a week.
- Supervise and direct junior high/high school operations with the dean of students, in the absence of principals.
- Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
- Work collegially in teams to foster professional collaboration.
- Be readily available to students for extra help and guidance outside class.
- Complete all required administrative and operational tasks promptly, in accordance with school operating policies and procedures.
- A Master’s degree (required).
- Five or more years of experience teaching junior high and high school students.
- Strong knowledge of junior high and high school operations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to establish meaningful relationships with all students and support whole‑child development.
- Ability to create an inclusive, respectful, and equitable learning environment.
- Capacity to nurture professional collaboration and growth among faculty.
- Skill in leading and managing employee teams and individuals.
- Ability to design and implement innovative, engaging, age‑appropriate curriculum in the content area.
- Willingness to attend devotions, faculty meetings, after‑school and evening functions.
- First‑aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Background check clearance.
- Agreement with Cascade Christian Schools teaching statement and statement of faith.

Salary$70,283 – $80,283 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
