The Puyallup Open Doors program is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Special Education teacher. This program is the most unique in the school district, offering personalized academic support to students as they work toward earning their high school diploma or GED. In this role, the teacher will focus on providing specialized support for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they meet all academic requirements and achieve their educational goals.
Teachers will work with students using two main avenues: a program called Edmentum, which provides digital curriculum that students can access both during and outside of school hours, and through the design and implementation of Mastery-Based Projects tailored to each student's learning needs.
