The job of Manager of Student Engagement, Attendance & McKinney-Vento Services provides strategic leadership, coordination, and oversight of district wide attendance, truancy intervention, student engagement, and McKinney-Vento (homeless education) services, and serves as the district coordinator for the Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) reimbursement process. This role ensures compliance with compulsory attendance laws, the McKinney-Vento Act, and Medicaid administrative claiming requirements while developing systems to remove barriers to attendance, enrollment, and other barriers to learning, improve student engagement, and promote equitable access to education for all students.
This position leads district initiatives to reduce chronic absenteeism, increase re-engagement, and support vulnerable student populations through data-driven practices, cross-department collaboration, and community partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications
* Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired.
* Community College and/or Vocational School degree with study in job related area.

* Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
* Valid Driver's License
