Piano Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a Piano Teacher to provide private and small group lessons in our retail lesson studio. In this role, you'll teach students of all ages and levels, create engaging lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and auditions, and track progress. You'll collaborate with store staff to schedule lessons, support enrollment growth, and uphold a fun, welcoming learning environment.

The ideal candidate is a skilled pianist with prior teaching or coaching experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for student success and music education.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group piano lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Create structured lesson plans aligned with student goals and store curriculum standards
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction as needed
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, exams, and performances
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance records, and student notes
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and retention
• Communicate regularly with parents and students about goals and progress
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards
