Insight Global is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to join a team and contribute to the design and analysis of structural components across wood, masonry, and steel members
. This role will focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions for residential and light commercial projects, including custom designs, additions, and structural modifications. You will collaborate closely with drafters, project managers, and other engineering professionals to ensure compliance with building codes and client specifications.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis.
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., RISA 3D, STAAD PRO, SAP
2000) and drafting tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D). - Strong knowledge of wood, masonry, and steel design principles
. - Familiarity with seismic analysis and detailing, including shear walls and braced frames.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with residential and light commercial projects
. - Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes.
- Ability to perform field investigations and document existing conditions.
- Experience with BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) is a plus
