About the OpportunityWe are looking for a Transportation Civil Engineer IV to join our DOT/Tribal Design team. This role will focus on general roadway design and stormwater infrastructure projects for a variety of public‑sector and tribal clients within Western Washington. The position involves project delivery, client engagement, project management, mentorship, and staff development.
This position can join our Puyallup, Seattle, or Silverdale office and work on an office/hybrid schedule, coming into the office for team and client collaboration and integration.
Your Role on the Team- Lead and/or support the design and delivery of transportation projects, with a focus on roadway, grading, stormwater and drainage.
- Lead and/or support the preparation of complete PS&E packages.
- Collaborate with internal and external clients through the project lifecycle to incorporate feedback and resolve design challenges.
- Perform QA/QC for engineering deliverables.
- BSCE in Civil Engineering or a related field and 7+ years of experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager for transportation projects.
- Experience working on projects for WSDOT, tribes, or local agencies such as cities and counties.
- Experience supervising engineering staff.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, Micro Station/Open Roads, or stormwater modeling software.
- Familiarity with local and state design manuals.

Salary Range$110,000 - $120,000 USD
Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee‑owners, we earn performance‑based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
