Supply Chain Management Analyst (Mid-Level or Senior)

Position OverviewThis role is part of Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) in the S&S Materials Management and Transportation team. The analyst will support all airplane programs, applying supply chain management methodologies and data analysis to drive optimal solutions, purchase raw materials and supplier parts, release production orders, and ensure compliance with inventory policies and contractual requirements.
Position Responsibilities- Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
- Applies SCM methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain.
- Analyzes complex material requirements.
- Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan.
- Determines part number attributes.
- Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability.
- Ensures on-time delivery.
- Documents and resolves order delinquencies.
- Reports schedule adherence issues.
- Develops and controls inventory plans.
- Optimizes inventory levels.
- Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories.
- Initiates audits.
- Develops and creates schedules for products and services.
- Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals.
- Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance.
- Works under general direction.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at Puyallup, Washington.
Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes.
- 3+ years of experience supporting operations, materials management and/or supply chain functions in a production environment.
- 3+ years of experience proficient with Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- 3+ years of experience working on data collection and data analytics products.
- Level 4: 10+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree.
- 3+ years of experience with warehousing vendor management operations.
- 3+ years of experience managing projects.
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing process improvement projects.
- 3+ years of experience performing data analysis.
Summary pay range – Level 3: $91,800 – $112,875. Level 4: $113,900 – $141,000.
