Qualifications- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
- Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills.
In the role of Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the Community interior, including residents’ apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion and in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Housekeeping: provide general cleaning for the Community and resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning entryways, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments.
- Resident apartments: clean and check refrigerators and heat system filters, change beds and linens, ensure adequate linen supplies, turn mattresses with assistance, and empty waste baskets.
- Deep cleaning as needed with attention to entry areas, carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures.
- Laundry: launder all linens by washing and drying in provided facilities.
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures.
- Server responsibilities: greet residents and guests, take orders, serve meals and desserts, return service carts to the kitchen, assist with tray delivery if needed, bus and clear tables, reset for next meal, and complete side work (sugar, creamers, coffeemaker, etc.).
- May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
The wage range for this position is $18.00/hr - $20.70/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
