The purpose of the Management Mentorship Program is to develop effective leaders by pairing experienced Medical Assistant Leads with a seasoned leader(s) who provide knowledge, guidance, and practical insight. Through this structured relationship, mentees strengthen leadership and decision-making skills, build confidence, and gain a deeper understanding of organizational culture, expectations, and management responsibilities.
The program also supports succession planning, enhances employee engagement, and promotes knowledge sharing and continuous learning across the organization. Participation does not include an increase in compensation and is intended exclusively for Medical Assistant Leads who are interested in learning and developing toward a future management career.
Medical Assistant Leads participating in the management mentorship program will have the opportunity to engage in leadership duties and development activities including participation in weekend end-call rotations, serving as interim managers during periods of operational need, and attending select leadership meetings. Additionally, participants will meet quarterly with the Director of Operations to discuss challenges, successes, and opportunities for growth, as well as to receive ongoing leadership guidance and support.
